LI GREEN MARKETS - We will be hosting the St. James Farmer’s Market in our parking lot this summer! We are excited to be part of this community event. We also have a great Art Project planned that everyone can participate in!

Every Sat. from June 3-Oct. 28, from 9am-1pm.

What can you do?? We’d like people to just come, mingle with market goers and vendors make a point of meeting new people and simply “hang out!”

If you would like to help, please fill out one of the yellow pew cards and put it in the offering plate. Please print your name phone and email on the card. Someone from the team will get in touch once plans and times are finalized.”

SCHOOL SUPPLY SALES :Watch for the weekly sales! Jeri Monthie has been busy sewing the school bags for the Lutheran World Relief school kits. As in the past, Outreach Ministry would like to send at least 60 kits to the Maryland warehouse. Each kit contains 4- 70 page spiral notebooks, 5 blue or black ball point pens ( no gel ink please), 5- unsharpened #2 pencils, a blunt scissor, a pencil sharpener, a 12 inch ruler, a 2 1/2 inch eraser and a box of 16 or 24 ct. crayons.

PLEASE help donate and grab some tags from the tree in the Narthex! Collection will go through August 13th. Any “extra” unlisted and listed school supplies above that you would like to purchase, will be given to our local L. I. Lighthouse Missions.

The LWR kits go wherever there is a need here in the U. S. and abroad.
